As we move closer and closer to the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year, we transition into the 6th month of the Gregorian calendar and into the start of the Summer season in the Northern Hemisphere.
The 6th of the 10 Light Bodies is known as the Arc Line, or the Halo. This body extends from earlobe to earlobe, across the forehead and has multiple functions, but it's primary one is "reading" our environments: the ones in which we currently are, or will be in the near future. It projects ahead, scans, assesses, and informs us of the available sensory information and vibratory frequencies around us, and processes this information through our intuition; not necessarily through our logic or reasoning. The reason for this is that it needs to make judgements within a matter of seconds instead of minutes and reasoning requires analysis, which takes time. Because of it's expedient nature, it enables us to prepare ourselves physically, mentally, and emotionally to occupy space and feel secure in the process. Is it an accident that the 6th Body is also our 6th Sense? Nope. :P
This body is our first line of defense against harm, because it's so sensitive that it will give us a "feeling" before we can determine why we had that feeling. Then, whether effective or not, or whether we heeded its warning or not, we usually end up with some confirmation on said feeling; reassuring us that we were indeed onto something. The book Blink: The Power of Thinking Without Thinking by Malcolm Gladwell very effectively illustrates this natural phenomenon. It's a short and highly recommended read, especially for those who appreciate some data to curb their skepticism.
It is through our Arc Lines that we connect DEEPLY with each other. If you think about it, not many people get close enough to us for our Arc Lines to touch... this only really happens with friends, family, and lovers who we feel comfortable enough to embrace and hold close for a spell. When we connect our halos, we establish a kind of psychic link and emotional tether, which when nurtured can develop into profound love and closeness. As a result, the number 6 represents love, beauty (inner and outer), and fairness; because in order for love to flourish, balance must be maintained and often it is our intuition which alerts us to imbalances, and in order to feel connection to something we often need to find it to be beautiful to us. This is also evident by how our intuition can pick up on how others, especially those we love, are feeling before they even need to say anything. One might argue that knowing someone's subtle facial cues and tendencies is responsible for that, but sometimes we can sense this without even being present with the other. That's how far our Arc Lines can project sometimes.
The number 6 will also represent our connection to family (birth or chosen) and community, our homes and sacred spaces. Depending on where in the world you live, you may find that June tends to be a time when many are taking their first family vacations of the year, or getting together around a special event like a reunion, festival, concert, or intentional community gathering. In these community spaces, we feel profound connection, purpose, inspiration, and spiritual attunement. We can communicate with these people in a style, philosophy, and social language they understand, and in doing so we feel seen and heard. It is in these connections where we are able to have shared group experiences of elevated consciousness; connecting our spirits with the greater Spirit and experiencing Oneness through community. This is also a time of year where many begin to move into new homes, renovate, redecorate, or nest in ways that are intended to create sanctuary and sacred spaces. It is in our homes where we can hopefully feel grounded, stable, secure, and vulnerable to our emotions without fear of observers or intrusions into our inner most worlds. As such, it is our Arc Lines which decide who to trust with access to said spaces. You wouldn't allow someone with muddy feet to walk through your home, would you? Now what about someone with muddy energy, who shows up and disrespects your sanctuary by leaving an emotional trail throughout your home?
Likely most relevant to the current global pandemic, the number 6 also represents our immune systems. This connection can be made since it is this bodily system which is our first line of physical defense from pathogens, but also because it relies on the proper function of our glandular system to stay strong and resilient. Additionally, it is our 6th Chakra, the Third Eye, which corresponds to the pituitary gland; one of the "master glands" that helps regulate the functions of our entire endocrine system. Keeping the pituitary functioning well ensures the rest of the glands getting hormonal signals from it are getting the information they need to stay diligent and healthy.
As many continue to get vaccinated and the world begins to open up to public gatherings and group activities again, the success of these attempts to return to "normalcy" will depend heavily on how well our immune systems can help us to avoid contracting and/or spreading illness, and thus keep us and those around us protected from harm. We will need to be more tuned in than ever to ensure that if something doesn't feel right, we trust our intuition and do what it tells us; for ourselves as well as the global community at large. It is the fair thing to do, after all.
