Redwoods as a teacher
I was struck by an article about how Redwoods deep in the California forests that survived the blazing wildfires and I thought we can learn from the Redwoods..........as we layer ourselves in lovenergy and disband fear........... we survive. The kriya practices help align the flow of energies in my body and to release toxins and all that no longer serve my body or life purpose. Mantra practice helps to re-train my brain away from "busy" mind, where I could get lost so many hours of each day in my "mind", mantra helps bring me back to my body/to present, and helps anchor my thoughts but also to heal me and then to offer this healing into our world. I hope to become more like the Redwood....... As I enter the longer mantra meditations of 31 minutes, I become aware of how long it takes my body to fully settle and my mind to settle and find a deep place of stillness............. I am so grateful to be connected to each of you on this journey and deeply grateful to the divine and to Snatam and Sopurkh whose purity of heart radiates as they live their truth and who created this amazing portal (metaphorically and literally)......... we can all share in healing and elevating the vibrations of our world. Sat nam, with love, marissa

Thank you for sharing Sopurkh. I have not actually touched a Redwood........ one day. How lovely you had this experience, and so profound at so many levels. I love the description............. soft and delicate, and yet trying to saw through would be so difficult. Yes....... so much to learn about being mindful.
