Beyond the Confines of Time & Space
As many of you know, I have been mourning the loss of my dear brother and best friend.
I know that many of you are also in grief and I just wanted to share this poem that I wrote.
The process is a uncomfortable but real and some healing is happening slowly.

To all others, we age,
With siblings, childhood set the stage.
We stay the same in our minds,
Unaffected by the way life unwinds.
We feel each other’s hearts,
No matter if close or far apart.
We share private family jokes,
Laugh lovingly at our folks !
Marveling in each other’s uniqueness,
As we remember family secrets,
We’ve known family sadness & joy,
Stayed true as others destroy,
Yet all the while ,
To each other, we know just what will bring a smile,
My heart longs to talk and be with you,
Yer my soul knows what is real & true.
You are free sweet release,
This brings some amount of peace.
Forever partners in crime,
Outside the confines of space & time…
