We have seen that pain and pleasure are labels created by the mind. We see this because we see the sensation, and we see the mind create the label. We have seen what happens when we don’t react, and when we don’t name: there is just sensation. We have seen that when we practice this, the result is healing and love expands. This is how we can say ‘all there is, is love’. This is how we can say ‘pain is love’.
“Pain is love’ can be hard to understand because the mind sees this statement as two conflicting labels that can't exist at the same time. But we can experience it very simply: next time you are with a person who generally makes you upset, completely allow yourself to become upset without naming it. Focus on your breath, or chant a mantra silently as they are talking (they won’t notice and you can still listen and be present with them). Just allow. Face them. What appears to be a demon is finally seen as a Divine manifestation through the transformation of seeing from love, rather than seeing from fear. Apply this to your life and be transformed.
@Sopurkh Khalsa Love you dearest Sopurkh but I dont think all love is pain .
The way its been told to me is there exists two true emotions...
Love & Fear !
Anything society and humans deem unpleasant such as grief , anger are from a space of fear ..
Love is all the emotions we deem to be pleasant such as joy, pleasure etc
The closer we move to fear, we live in that space of anxiety and suffering .
Fear is a manifestation of the mind ... and Love is within us all!
The closer we move to love … the love ❤️ which is our true nature expands
