Here is the Shabad we've been singing in the last four classes.
kabahoo saadhasangat ehu paavai
Sometimes, this being attains the Company of the Holy.
aus asathaan tay bahur na aavai
From that place, he does not have to come back again.
antar ho-i gi-aan pargaas
The light of spiritual wisdom dawns within.
aus asathaan kaa nahee binaas
That place does not perish.
man tan naam ratay ik rang
The mind and body are imbued with the Love of the Naam, the Name of the One Lord.
sadaa baseh paarabraham kai sang
He dwells forever with the Supreme Lord God.
ji-u jal meh jal aa-i khaṯaanaa
As water comes to blend with water,
ti-u jotee sang jot samaanaa
his light blends into the Light.
miṯ gay gavan paa-ay bisraam
Reincarnation is ended, and eternal peace is found.
naanak prabh kai sad kurbaan
Nanak is forever a sacrifice to God. ||8||11||
Wow! I’m so inspired that you remembered and applied your practice so consciously!!!
I had the perfect (though not all pleasant) opportunity to practice the Anger Set with this Shabad this morning when I went to my backyard just before my early am practice and saw that my neighbour had dumped some mess right at back of my yard blocking the gate to get out - felt very violating. Was going to do the 'breath with ease' but realize I needed something more powerful to process this. Thanks for bring this kriya in and combining with the sense of
letting go. Like I say not easy but I understand how important it is to. release
the hold of what gets stirred up inside.
I absolutely love this Shabad. The idea of water blending with water, such a simple image in one's head but vast in the purity of it and an expression of perfection of His light blending into the light of all life.
