Pandemic Light

Hello Lovely Community! Someone a couple weeks ago during one of my first classes I was able to attend asked Sopurkh to explain the concept of empty. Or perhaps emptiness? I am not sure how the conversation started. I am struggling to take part in the classes during my intense work responsibilities during the day as a senior team member of our local transit agency - so it's hard for me to focus during some classes amidst the bleep bleeps of the urgent messages coming from my phone. So if you see my video turning off during classes for a period I have no other choice and I am so so sorry. Anyhow, I am an artist and musician and that discussion about empty resonated with me. So I wrote a song based on that conversation and what it made me thing about. Here are the lyrics. I have also put it to music and maybe some day I can play it :) I wish I could sing well but it is what it is. I think it would be really nice with a guitar, flute and violin.

PANDEMIC LIGHT

Fields of dandelions

stand like soldiers –

holding ground

for the siege of time.

Lion manes turn to

ghostly angels,

floating gently to the

light divine.

Into the lightness.

Into the stillness

of the heart and mind.

Into the timeless.

Into the weightlessness of the light divine.

Moon stands up

in a sea of starlight –

silver shield

for the nightly watch.

Tangerine horizon

breaks the night sky.

Sun takes over for the light divine.

Into the lightness.

Into the stillness

of the heart and mind.

Into the timeless.

Into the weightlessness of the light divine.

A wild tornado spins the world into darkness –

tribulation is

our daily bread.

Hearts asunder

turn to hearts united,

pirouetting in the

light divine.

Into the lightness.

Into the stillness

of the heart and mind.

Into the timeless.

Into the weightlessness of the light divine.

Into the lightness.

Pirouetting in the

light divine.
