I have been struggling the past few days,

I chose to listen, to meditate and here is what I heard

Oh my senses, Sun-ai, listen deeply, simply listen

Allow the soul to shine and to glisten

Its already here, this guidance to let the self dissolve into love

Let it fit as it already does, like the fit of a perfect glove

The Maya, the mind, it is not true,

Please rule the ego, mind or it will rule you

Practice, meditate and allow

Give yourself permission-release, relax, let go

Do the work, deep inside we all know how

Release the burdens and heavy weights

The energy is here now, no need to contemplate

No need to tell the world or make this an impossible chore

Let go of negative, positive too, it is true, of this I am sure

Let go of the ego, of what is not real, a lifelong goal

This is the secret, the path to return again and again to feel whole

Grab up all those lifelong expections,

Gather all those resentments and self imposed limitations

Throw out the burdens and false beliefs,

Then, enjoy this feeling, this is sweet relief

Ankar, recognize and meet all the problems, the blocks

Collect them, in a symbolic way, write them on many rocks

Lay them upon your back, feel the heavy, deep pain

Listen deeply, is it ok to hold on? anything at all to gain?

The invitation is to take each rock, write the name Nanak, the Guru

The guru awaits this and will take this pain just for you

Make the choice and release each stone into the ocean's flow

Oh sweet release as the waves scoop them up, letting go, letting go

Surrender, surrender to what it true

This is my prayer for humanity, for me, for you

Peace is right there, peace is right in here

All love, all peace, its truly everywhere

Be here, be present, stay in the now

The gift is Wahe Guru! LIKE WOW

As we let go of the darkest of dark nights

With this sweet blessing, an open heart, step into the light

Remember Oh Nanak and Ek Ong Kar

The guru, this truth, it is always near,

It is within me, within you, so precious and dear

Each day, an opportunity to start anew

Surrender and rest in the gentle, loving arms of the guru!
